Interesting side quest with my brother

Hey Reader

This morning was a little different.

After morning prayer, me and my brother went on a side quest.

We went to pick some fresh, God-given fruits straight from the trees.

A friend of my brother who lives in Italy has a house with a BIG garden with plenty, plenty of fruit trees.

And if nobody benefits from these trees, all those fruits go to waste.

Which is why they asked us to go pick them up.

And pick we did.

We picked pomegranates, lemons, and wet dates.

It's autumn, so we're right in the middle of their season.

We filled our bags with fruits of all shapes and sizes so we could eat them by the beach, enjoying the exotic views of my city...

Sell them, duh.

Of course...

I mean, c'mon.

You've got all these fruits sitting there. Why not sell them, make some money, and reinvest it into taking care of the trees?

That's why we went there in the first place.

Actually, the auntie waiting for us that morning (their neighbour who takes care of the trees) had already prepared 30kg of juicy, red-hot pomegranates for us to sell at the market.

Alright alright...

We definitely took some fruits for ourselves too haha.

Perhaps my mam will make some great juice out of the pomegranates and use the lemons for soup, fish, or whatever...

They smellllll sooo good.

This actually got me thinking...

Imagine having a house with a big yard where you can plant all kinds of fruit trees and vegetables.

You take care of them, cultivate them, and wait for them to grow.

Then, when they finally produce those sweet, mouth-watering fruits, you get to enjoy the benefits.

You make jam for winter, whip up tons of yummy desserts, and sell fruits for profit.

But there's one downside.

It takes time and patience before a fruit finally pops out of a flower.

Everything depends on the season, how well you care for the trees, and, of course, whether God gives you the fruits.

But once they arrive?

Oh boy... oh boyyy...

You get to enjoy plenty of healthy stuff and make some casholas too.

And that's exactly what happens when you grow your own email list.

There's no difference.

Of course, you don't get to eat your email list (duh).

But you do get to enjoy the benefits that come from it.

You grow it, take care of it, build relationships with those people by sending great emails, solve their problems with your awesome solutions...

And when the time comes, you enjoy the fruits of your labour.

But, just like a fruit garden, an email list takes time to grow.

You need patience before it starts producing those juicy fruits you want, aka the money.

And once you get it right...

... your email list becomes one of the biggest assets in your business.

How am I so sure?

I know people who are making well over six figures from their email lists.

And I've been managing email lists for business owners for well over a year too.

I know the power of having one.

Which is why, alongside my clients' work, I'm putting effort into growing my own email list and taking care of it.

So I get to build my own asset, where I write and sell my own services.

And I'd recommend you do the same.

I don't care what you sell or what you do in life.

Build your email list, and email that list.

Even if it's just an update about your life and you don't have anything to sell yet.

Along the way, you'll figure it ou

Until next time,

Your friend,

It’s 11:15-ish PM. I’m about to go to bed and finally rest after a long day. Then suddenly… *Bzzz bzzz* Notifications on my phone. One of my clients sends me a voice note. Now, before I tell you what he said, let me take you back to what happened throughout the week. I’ve been setting up email marketing for this dear client who’s been running his business for a whopping 6 years. The thing is… Although the business had been running for years, they’d never fully used email marketing to its...

When I first started my journey as a copywriter back in 2024 I was hungry to learn. I’d hunt for any free resource to equip myself with more knowledge because I couldn't afford to buy courses or pay for mentors. I was a student trying to make it.. So I’d sign up for email lists and study how other copywriters wrote their emails. What I figured out was that pretty much almost all the people I was reading from had this particular structure and formula to write their emails. They’d touch a...

Hey Reader Last week was a busy one. I had plenty of work on my hands. I've been busy building the entire automation and email system for a client. And honestly, I’ve enjoyed every bit of it. You know why? Because I’ve been doing the thing I love most in this whole process. Writing. A LOT of writing. Not strategy, looking at data, or crafting offers and systems. Those things are crucial. If you get em' right, you can take your business up a notch, two, or ten in a single quarter. And...
