Hey Reader Summer gave me some really good lessons. And some hard pills to swallow. But when you’re building something, you’ll always face roadblocks. Those roadblocks can make or break you. Embrace them, do the work, and eventually they become milestones. Fall to your knees every time they get in your way, and you’ll feel the pain of regret for the rest of your life. Anyway… The reason why I'm sending this email is to tell you why every online entrepreneur should have an email list. And I mean everyone. Coaches. Service providers. Ecom brands. Anyone selling online. Here's why: 1. The ROI is stupidly good. Emails generate a whopping $42 for every $1 spent. Now name me another channel giving you a 4,200% ROI. I’m waiting… Social media is great for growing your brand. But smart businesses use it to grow their email list. They channel almost all their followings towards their email list. Because they know their list is one of the biggest digital assets they own. 2. You actually own your email list. Your social media account can get shut down tomorrow. The algorithm can change overnight. And suddenly everything you worked so hard to build is gone. That feeling sucks. But you own your email list. Even if your email platform shuts down, you can download your CSV, plug it into another platform, and you’re back in the game. But with social media you'll have to rebuild everything from scratch. 3. You build a deeper relationship through email. They start looking forward to hearing from you. You become the authority they trust. And when they need what you sell, they come to you first. I’ve been reading Alin Dragu’s emails for almost 3 years now. In that time, I’ve gotten tons of value from him and learned countless lessons. I became familiar with the guy simply because he kept showing up in my inbox every day. And now I’m part of his private community, where I can ask him directly about anything I’m struggling with in my business. He earned my trust, he built that relationship with me, and now I spend money on him. 4. It’s one of your biggest retention levers. The billion-dollar question in business: How do you turn a first-time buyer into a second-time buyer? Of course, your product has to be good, your offer also plays a huge role in here. But email gives you a direct line to keep communicating with your customers, build the relationship, and sell them more. And this works for service providers too. Sell a low-ticket product, nurture them, sell the high-ticket offer. But is in fact a really long term game... and more profitable. There are plenty more benefits to building an email list. I’ll be talking about those more in the future. Because I’m building my own list too. So if you have an online business of any kind… Build an email list. And actually email that list. It’ll reward you. Hope this helped. Elton Korpuzi P.S. Can I ask a favor? If you enjoy these emails and know someone who’d get value from them, forward this email to them. It would mean the world to me. P.P.S. What topic do you want me to touch on next? |
I'd love to show you how to do email marketing the right way. Everything about the copy, the design, the overall strategies I've mastered throughout my journey of helping my clients make more money with email marketing.
When I first started my journey as a copywriter back in 2024 I was hungry to learn. I’d hunt for any free resource to equip myself with more knowledge because I couldn't afford to buy courses or pay for mentors. I was a student trying to make it.. So I’d sign up for email lists and study how other copywriters wrote their emails. What I figured out was that pretty much almost all the people I was reading from had this particular structure and formula to write their emails. They’d touch a...
Hey Reader Last week was a busy one. I had plenty of work on my hands. I've been busy building the entire automation and email system for a client. And honestly, I’ve enjoyed every bit of it. You know why? Because I’ve been doing the thing I love most in this whole process. Writing. A LOT of writing. Not strategy, looking at data, or crafting offers and systems. Those things are crucial. If you get em' right, you can take your business up a notch, two, or ten in a single quarter. And...
Uuhh… brrr… The weather turned 180°. One day I’m getting roasted alive by the summer heat. Now I’m sitting at my desk feeling the cold breeze early in the morning, with my feet completely frozen. So I shoved one of them under my cat Mika, who’s sitting underneath my desk. She’s warm, puffy. Perfect little heater. Not the most welcoming one though. She likes to fight, scratch, and usually wants nothing to do with being petted. But give her food... and hehe... Suddenly, she’s the most welcoming...
