Reader What if you had an army working for you 24/7... ...going out, targeting prospects, and selling your products... Without you lifting a finger. Not only would this army make sales while you sleep, it'd also lower your Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and retarget visitors without you spending another dollar on ads. How cool would that be for you and your business? It's every ecom founder's dream. But what if I told that... ...That army actually exists. It's called email automation flows. You set them up once, train them over time (by tweaking the copy, design, and offers), and they keep making money while you sleep. They're triggered by how people behave on your website. Whether someone joins your email list, browses your products, shows interest without buying, abandons their cart, or places an order... The right email gets sent automatically at exactly the right moment. And here's where it gets even better. Let's say you send a campaign. Someone clicks. Visit your website. Look at a product. Then leaves. One of your automation flows immediately kicks in and brings that prospect back... Without you spending another dime on retargeting ads. "Automations in place," says Chris Orzechowski, "it's kind of like a pinball machine. Each customer you launch toward your website can ping around from page to page, triggering sequences and increasing the amount they're going to spend with you. Once that starts happening, you have more cash flow to either take as profit or invest back into the business." So what are these flows? 1) Before the saleThese target people who haven't bought yet. Their job is to convince people emotionally enough to buy. I'll break each one down in future emails, but here's the overview. Welcome Sequence — welcomes people into your world and starts building a relationship. Abandoned Cart/Checkout — reminds people about the items they left behind. (Around 70% of carts are abandoned.) Browse Abandonment — targets people who've viewed a product but haven't taken action. Active on Site — targets window shoppers. 2) During the saleThese confirm the purchase, reduce buyer's remorse, and increase the order value. This stage can make or break your retention. Order Confirmation — most brands send a boring "thanks for your order" email. Big mistake. You can turn this into another revenue-generating email. (One small tweak I made for a client generated an extra $10k.) Post Purchase — teaches customers how to use the product, handles buyer's remorse, and introduces other products they'll likely want. 3) After the saleThese are built to increase LTV and bring inactive customers back. VIP Sequence — reward your best customers with exclusive offers. These people spend the most money with you. Treat them like it. Win Back — targets customers who haven't purchased or engaged in a long time. Hit them with offers. If they still don't come back... Suppress them and stop paying to keep them on your email platform. With these armies in place, my clients have recovered thousands of dollars they'd have otherwise left on the table. And it's no coincidence that the biggest ecommerce brands all use them. They're cheaper than ads. They land on the most-consumed platform people check every day. And they generate the highest ROI. So don't neglect them. Use them. Profit from them. Thank you for reading. Elton P.S. In future emails, I'll break down of these automations and show you real examples of how they've made my clients more money. |

Reader In the previous email, I told you that one of the biggest levers in your email marketing is going to be your pop-up form. The reason is simple... The more people join your email list, the more money you can make. But the average industry signup rate is only 2-3%. That's not good... Especially for a brand constantly driving traffic to its website through ads or content. Imagine you've got 100k website visitors and only 2% subscribe. That's 2,000 subscribers. But with a pop-up form that...
Reader Today, traffic is getting more expensive than ever. Lots of brands are entering the market every day, competing for eyeballs so they can sell their products. The more brands enter, the higher the bid for ads becomes. Ads are super effective for driving traffic to your website. Unlike content, where you have to rely on algorithms, with ads you can feed the machine with cash and it'll show your ads to as many people as your budget allows. If your ad is good, it'll get clicked. More...
Reader Remember that email I told you about where I asked my client to tell me a story that foreshadows the work he does today? He told me a story about his grandma and the lessons she taught him that he still uses in his business today. We got that story written into an email, did some tweaks, added a segue to the current offer we were running, and told people to click and buy. So what happened after that? Well... as I was sitting yesterday on a call with one of the founders to fix some...
